CIPMO aims to support the Israeli-Palestinian-Arab dialogue, the mutual recognition of national rights and the development of bilateral or multilateral cooperation in the context of the EuroMediterranean Partnership.
The principal activities of the Center are as follows:
•    Organisation of relevant International Conferences to support the Peace Process
•    Coordination of the actions of the Italian Committee in support of the Geneva initiative and its model for peace between Israel and Palestine
•    Support of the Peace Process by organising private ('Track II') seminars and producing original materials useful for the negotiation
•    Development of multi-layered projects in line with the European Union’s New Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (People-to-People Projects, Human Rights Projects etc.)
•    Peace Education through the implementation of public conferences and school-twinning activities
•    Construction of interactive networks for co-operation in the Mediterranean area
•    Implementation and publication of researches regarding Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean realities
•    Development of specific training activities, pre- and post degree for youth interested in the middle-eastern issues.
•    Realisation of cooperative activities for development in the Middle East, with substantial initiatives for peace-building, within the forum of the 'Middle-Eastern Union' founded in cooperation with CESVI (an NGO from Bergamo).
